Cato on Tour: Sarasota

The Cato Institute requests the pleasure of your company at a cocktail reception hosted by XXXXXXX, featuring remarks by XXXXXXX

On February 26, 2024, the Supreme Court will hear arguments for NetChoice v. Paxton and Moody v. NetChoice over Texas and Florida laws that would regulate certain online content moderation actions but could have much further-reaching impact on the future of free speech. Please join us March 14 to hear Jennifer Huddleston’s reactions to this recent oral argument and what it reflects about the ongoing debates about free expression online, as well as learn more about how a market-focused approach to tech policy issues—including youth online safety, data privacy, and competition—has benefited consumers and entrepreneurs and why, despite the headlines, we can be optimistic about the future and innovation.

You can also read Cato’s amicus curiae related to these cases here.
